2005 Russian River Valley Zinfandel [sold out]

DOUBLE GOLD 2008 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition
90 POINTS
Wine Enthusiast Feb '08

Defines a very ripe, varietally true interpretation of Zinfandel. It's the kind of wine the old Italian-American families might have enjoyed in the days of old, with its lusty flavors of freshly picked wild berries that were made into jam. The alcohol is on the high side, but the wine is luscious. - S.H. | Read the Wine Notes

2004 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

"GOLD MEDAL": 2007 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition
"90 POINTS / CELLAR SELECTION":
Wine Enthusiast / Feb 2008 Issue

This is really a nice Cabernet Sauvignon. Soft and polished, it shows herb and cassis flavors, wrapped in rich smoky oak, with a long, dry finish. The tannins are quite strong now, giving the wine a chewy toughness and suggesting moderate aging. - S.H.
