WINE NOTES |
This Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, released by GiaDomella under the
guidance of winemaker Nick Goldschmidt, comes from an estate vineyard owned by
the E. Passalacqua family. The land where this historic vineyard is situated
has been in our family for nearly a century and has been owned in succession by
our great-grandparents, grandparents and parents. Grape growing and winemaking
have always been a piece of our family heritage. GiaDomella is a tribute to
this heritage and is named after Gianna, Dominic, and Marcella Passalacqua, the
5th generation of our winemaking family.
This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced directly from our 50 acre estate
vineyard, with the multiple soil types and microclimates lending themselves to
this gloriously complex and seamless wine.
Rich in berry flavors, this young wine can be enjoyed now and with its classic
fruit forwardness, is destined to shine for years to come. This compelling wine
is powerful on the palate and finishes in rich fashion.
